If I was staying at a house that was not MINE for an extended period of time for FREE, I would do my VERY BEST to keep my belongings tidy and be respectful of the owner(s) of the house. I also would make sure to CLEAN UP after myself when I left!
Apparently not everyone thinks like me!

Sometimes life travels in a certain direction and you follow along down that path because it is easier than forging your own way.... maybe it is where you should be .... maybe it isn't! Strange how life is..... you never learn what was down the more difficult path. I am wondering what is down that path and if I am just following because it is easy to do. Why do I think like this?

Last week was a total blur... I worked frantically to get to closing and am totally LUCKY the event even took place on Friday....but I managed to get through it and the check is in the bank. Christmas was very nice! Full of relaxation and good food. I really didn't do too much...and (I know this will shock everyone) didn't even drink much. Strange but with this cold I have had...I haven't felt like drinking at all.
I have been trying to get Bears vs. Packers tickets for the New Year's Eve game. Thought I had 8 tickets!!!! But then the NFL went and changed the time from noon to 7:30 p.m.! Why did they do that?!?!? Who wants to watch football outside in the cold on New Year's Eve. A noon game is o.k. but a night game....no thank you! I'd rather have a party with the game on in the background.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! And that Santa was good to you!!!!
LOL- Cynthia

Really can't believe it is Christmas. The temperature is fairly mild...today it is raining. We haven't hardly seen snow. (probably shouldn't complain) And with all the extra crap going on in my life- don't even feel feastive. BUT did manage to set up closing for the townhouse for tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I almost forgot.... I STILL HAVE MY COLD!!!!!

I am down in the dumps! UGH...what is wrong with the world!
Sometimes I think I try too hard to get ahead...maybe my mind thinks faster than the world can work. THought things were going great and then all of a sudden BAM... hit the wall!!!!
As I reported earlier, I sold another townhouse. I was suppose to close on the deal tomorrow BUT have discovered I no longer own the property. Yes that seems bizarre...and I know what you are thinking "What the hell did you do with it?" But apparently a BIG mistake was made by the title company that handled the second townhouse closing and they just deeded ALL the property to that person. Now I am in a fight to get back what is/was/ should be legally MINE! What a quick way to blow a fortune!
Also- heard an answer back from my lawsuit and that sounds like it will drag on FOREVER and I still might not get was is/should be legally MINE!!!
I have a patient that I treated on Monday night for an emergency foot infection who is not doing well and will not follow instructions....looks like she will lose her foot and maybe part of her leg. And another patient who is extremely NON-COMPLIANT and is in jeopardy of losing her foot and/or part of her leg. WHy do people not follow directions? There is no magic wand, no fairy dust, no boink of my pony tail!!!!
Now I know why people go "postal" ..... the saga continues

For All of you wondering.... My little corner of Northwest Indiana only received 2 inches of snow! We missed the significan 10-12" that fell to the north and west!! So - I avoid shoveling! The snow is pretty though.
It is just enough snow to make all of the Indiana people freak out. Being from the North... I just laugh ... Until I have to drive along side of the Indiana natives. How frustrating! Nobody remembers how to drive in snow from one year to the next. And half my patients today didn't show up either! Easy lead in for the weekend! I have little planned... begin unpacking (ugh!) and a holiday party for Saturday night! I am looking forward to that event. I will post photos later. And of course some football on Sunday!!! Still love my Packers!!! Go Brett Favre!
